Activity, history and export

How research keeps running while you work, where past results live and how to export them.

Activity

You never have to wait on a loading screen. Start a search, move to another page, close the tab if you like, and come back later. The result is saved to the project when it finishes.

  • The tracker at the bottom of the sidebar shows how many items are running, or have failed.
  • Open Activity for the full list with elapsed time. Site audits show pages crawled out of your maximum.
  • Research that has not started yet can be cancelled.
  • Failed research waits under Needs attention with the reason, until you dismiss it. Research that fails is never charged.
  • A message pops up when research finishes, with a button to open the result.
  • Rank checks, content briefs, local checks and brand reports run the same way, and a rank check you scheduled keeps running without you.

Notifications and recent activity

The bell in the header lists your latest research for the active project: the tool, the target, how long ago, and a link to the saved result. The dashboard's Recent activity and Research activity chart show the same information.

History

Every tool keeps its own history, and opening a saved result is always free.

ToolWhere to find past results
Keyword ResearchSearched keywords
Domain OverviewAll domains
BacklinksPreviously analyzed
Site AuditPreviously crawled
AI VisibilityHistory list
CompetitorsYour analyses
Rank TrackingTracked sites, and each keyword's position history
Content BriefsThe list of briefs, with the drafts saved in each
Local SEOYour businesses, with their saved checks
Brand MonitoringYour brands, with their saved reports

Long imports, link gap and bulk runs, and scheduled backlink checks also keep running if you leave the page, with a progress count and a Stop button on imports. You can remove entries from the Domain Overview, Backlinks, Site Audit, Competitors, Content Briefs, Local SEO, Rank Tracking and Brand Monitoring lists when you no longer need them.

Export to CSV

Tables in Keyword Research, Domain Overview, Backlinks and AI Visibility, the recent mentions in Brand Monitoring, and the Search Console and GA4 reports, have an Export button. It exports what you see after filtering, or only the rows you selected, and opens cleanly in Excel and Google Sheets. Exporting saved data costs nothing.
